By the first of the year I'm hoping to have in place 5 shops, each in a sim with a New Orleans theme, with Mardi Gras beads, masks and some clothing.
The shops will also feature photos of Second Life singers that are "live in concert" as well as some t-shirts for those performers. Those items will hopefully help keep the shops at least interesting the rest of the year that is not part of the Mardi Gras season.
Eventually I'm planning to try to have a live performer at each of the shop locations for simultaneous concerts - and people can teleport between them all. Hopefully I'll be ready to make my Second Life singing debut at that time too :)
Yeah, I know. That's a lot. Like I said, I'm in this for the long term and having a great time doing it. If it takes me a little longer to accomplish it all, it's fine with me. It's the journey that's the enjoyable part, not necessarily the desination...
