..said she while observing the waters over the levee, lazily spread across her freshly scavenged purple sofa. The fumes from below are quite the nose ticklers, mixing with the humidity that condenses on the window panels. Sleeping outside has been a good idea so far.

Now, if only them damn contractors would hurry up a bit. I'm tired of living in a garage, though it has some distinct charm, but it will ruin the piano, and it's a damn good piano.

Well.. I must've done something right, as I got no rotten vegetables thrown towards the direction of either me or the band. There was music for good 3 hours, a crowd for about 16 folks cheerfully dancing at Phin's. Mama Cree made a small appearance before business took her away, and many of our fellow Taloonatics (is that a term?) popped by for long or short.

So there will be dancing. And this girl has one more reason for celebration since she can finally retire from her "Taloo homeless" status. Algiers is down, and Mr. Farnshaw and I battled over who's getting the first plot (there were enough for everyone, but you get the idea) as we flocked towards to the prebooking map when Mama Cree got the word out.
